Why? Izzy still not well.....

So, Izzy has not been keeping her food in again. She has had so many antibiotics of all kinds. We starved her yesterday then fed her this morning and she pooped everywhere within seconds. Scooped the poop along with her and went straight to the vet. We looked in the microscope and she has do much bacteria in her poop! The vet has never seen anything like it. This is after flora and everything else. Izzy is loosing weight fast and I am beside myself with worry for her.

Moving forward with Izzy......she is gaining weight and, a very nice surprise was, that after a visit to the eye hospital, she has had all her staples removed from around her eyes!!! Sadly she is now taking amoxiliin and tylosin, and at this stage we had to go with the vet and put her on purina dco which has stopped the diarrhea. She is looking better and is full of energy. We worry each time she poops as her colon does drop out an inch or so and then pop back in? This, we are assured, is all a matter of bacteria balance in her belly. One day at a time and a vet on 24 hour alert keeps us sane.
