Before I got yogi, I never thought I'd let him sleep in my bed. No other dog of mine has in the past.....
But he is such a snuggler, I've let him up the past two nights while DH was away.
Am I starting a bad habit? He's crate trained at night, so I am trying to decide if I want this to become a habit in the bed or not.

Are any of you sorry you started the habit of allowing your dogs up?

We really enjoy having at least one doodle at a time in bed with us. It's just cozy having another 65# "being" in bed with us. On those frequent occasions that DH goes away, having them so close to me in bed lends a layer of security and familiarity and I never feel lonely. And neither of them snore, so I always enjoy them nearby (even more than DH, at times, wink-wink)
The only problem we have ever had, which is just within the past month, since we just got the tempurpedic adjustable king bed, is that when I move my side up or down, which ever doodle is on my side, quickly jumps over to DHs mattress, so he ends up with two doodles on top of him. Why it's such a problem is the DH would rather sleep on the floor himself, before making one of the dogs get off his bed.........heaven forbid we should disturb the doodles!!!!!!

LOL... that is so funny! My DH is the same. He won't move a muscle when the doods are up against him, and they tend to take as much real estate as my DH will give. DH has actually fallen out over the edge of the bed when they, essentially, pushed him out of bed! Yes, heaven forbid he should disturb the doodles!!
