Will I doodle out !? :O

Of course with his green eyes dipped in honey , Samuels face has stolen the hearts of everyone coming into our household. Being one of the smartest dogs we have ever had in our family, this 3 month old handsome baby is no doubt living up to his "Double Doodle" name. The only evidence of this however is his long legs and awkwardly shaping body! But we love him regardless. What has us more than confused however, is his obvious lack of 'doodle' hair... Will he doodle out !? Does anyone have any lovely puppies that resembled my Samuel? If so , please help in solving this mystery! :)

Well first of all, he's darling. He does look like he'll have an 'open face' (smooth, not doodley) but time will tell on the rest of him. Be sure to update us!

Samuel looks like he will be one gorgeous open-faced doodle. I think his ears are going to be fluffy! :-) What a sweetheart. His eyes are to die for!

If I were to get a doodle that looked more smoothfaced and retriever-y, I'd want him to look just like Samuel. His eyes are so expressive. Cute, cute puppy.

Gracie is more retrieverish, but she has waves on her back. She does have the fuzzy hair like what Samuel has on his ears.

Oh, you can never tell.  One of my doodles looked like this as a puppy and he never had really curly hair, but he was an adorable dog anyway.  He does look more on the lab side of his family, but you can never really tell.  Keep us posted.  He is a beautiful dog, and those eyes!
