We have a sweet 13 week goldendoodle he’s standard f1 just this week I’ve noticed dust bunnies around the house from his coat. This is the first time I’ve seen this since he’s been home with us. He has a wavy coat feels more like wool. He’s never shedded before so I’m not sure if this is normal or he’s just going through a coat change? Anyone have experience with this?

Most likely a coat change - besides the weather has been rather changeable lately also.  Don't worry about it.  I think the wool coat is the easiest to keep clean.

13 weeks is a little young for coat change. As he's an F1 it is very likely he will shed.

My f1 shed for a very brief period and now at 1, not at all.

I’m hoping he won’t shed too much keeping my fingers crossed. Although as a f1 we did expect some light shedding but he doesn’t shed  like my German Shepherd use to thank goodness. We are also having some weather change it’s starting to feel more like spring here around the 60’s we’re as in the last couple of weeks it’s been in the. 20’s and 30’s

It is not the coat change at 13 weeks. Usually when a doodle sheds as a young puppy, they will continue to shed; the good news is that I said usually rather than always. :-}

Don't worry too much, Roo had a wool coat and did shed a little.  But easy shedding, fine little balls of black Roo hair in corners.  I agree that wool coats are easier to groom and keep clean.  My husband has severe dog hair allergies and Roo's shedding did not cause him any trouble if you worried about that.  A little dog hair on the floor never hurt anyone, so don't worry.

I looked at pics on your page-that is not a wool coat--it is a wavy fleece and not even that wavy--that could all change as your pup gets older, but it is quite likely that you will get some light shedding--all dogs shed a bit and a few dust bunnies are nothing compared to a true shedder--for example, if you had a husky pup, you would be vacuuming daily!

If you pull gently on the hairs on his tail end--on the backs of his legs and get 10-12 hairs, he will be a light shedder, most likely--but again, it can change.

Wasn’t sure how to describe it that’s just how it feels but thanks for the suggestions.
