As I enjoy one of my favorite lunches - a yummy peanut butter and lettuce sandwich - I am questioning myself.  All due to starting Adina's healthy eating starting Aug. 1., I'm sure.  Is peanut butter and lettuce considered healthy?  O.K. maybe not the bread but it was whole wheat.  I'm the kinda person that could reasonably argue that Milk Duds are healthy - hey - there is LOTS of milk in chocolate and carmel.  I'm probably a lost cost on the weight loss thing with this kind of thinking.  DH thinks my sandwich is repulsive, I say there are weirder combos that peanut butter and lettuce.  So what is your weirdest sandwich?

No sweet pickle, ever, on anything! Dill only. I even buy dill relish. I hate sweet pickles. Sour should be sour, sweet should be sweet, and never the twain shall meet.

There are two kinds of people in the world, those who like Miracle Whip and those who don't. Sweet pickles remind me of Miracle Whip. And thousand island dressing.

PB and salami was wonderful as well, but like you said, it is expensive, hence the bologna.  I still love a good cream cheese and jelly sandwich.  Hey, I'm getting hungry now.
Try cream cheese on half rye bread with slices of pear.  It is really yummy!

Cream cheese and stuffed olives is a really good combo, too.

I like spicy, salty, tangy. Not big on sweet flavors in anything unless it's dessert. And I hate peanut butter.

Cream cheese and _______ is a great combination! Isn't cream cheese great? I've been on a kick recently where I love a toasted Everything bagel with cream cheese and lutenica (spicy euro roasted pepper relish). Yum. I guess it's not a weird combo... just not a common thing here in the US.
How about scrambled egg sandwich with cream cheese cooked in them....on flat bread! Yummy, can't go wrong with cream cheese.

Scramblers with cream cheese and scallions are GREAT!

I occasionally have cream cheese on a bagel with hot pepper jelly--sounds similar (and good!)
Try cream cheese with hot pepper jelly, served with crackers for a dinner party!  People eat it up like crazy, it's cheap and EASY!
When I was a kid in the Big Apple we ate sandwiches with cream cheese and green olives. Really good.
Yep, that's what I meant.
I wouldn't eat it, but I see no problem with it--all healthy ingredients :-)
