Aussiedoodle

Welcome to The Aussiedoodle Group  -  Where we love to share photos, experiences, concerns, laughs, and so much more about our ADs. A group where we understand the proud ownership you feel about these amazing furry creatures. We also understand that though the AD is a doodle cross, it has a unique set of features from its Golden and Labrador cousins.

About The Breed

Aussiedoodles are Australian Shepherd and Poodle cross, NOT Australian Labradoodles

Aussiedoodles are very consistent in their shaggy Looks, and typically very low to no shedding. They are very smart. They are Like Little children with Hair, You just can't go wrong

They are popular as Service and/or Therapy dogs due to their trainability, Caring and eager to please personality. Specifically, many are used as Diabetic Alert Dogs.

Their sizes are much easier to predict as both Australian Shepherds and Poodles come in 3 sizes, Miniature, Moyen, and Standard.

Hi DK. It's been awhile since I'v been on the site. Unfortunately, my sweet little Mollie passed away 3 weeks ago. She injested some sort of unidentifiable organic toxin and despite all attempts went into kidney and liver failure and died within 3 days. It was a horrible experience. Nancy and Steve, my breeders were so upset for us and so suppotive of my husband and I. They sent us a beautiful hydranga bush in her memory and also put aside a puppy for John and I in the hope that we would be ready again . They updated us gently with progress reports and just kept in touch in such a loving and healing way. I cannot thank them enough for our very special and thoughtful "gift of love". They went above and beyond and I love you guys so much for this.We picked her up yesterday and our hearts are so full of love. I have found a family at Doodlesville. Nancy and Steve, God Bless You.
Zoe(means life) is a pistol. We are amazed already and look forward to sharing once again on Doodlekisses.

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if I could join your group even if I live in New Jersey as I have an Australian labradoodle from canada. Her name is Mya. She was 1 yr old in march and is a standard. She is appricot but was supposed to be red. Ooops someone forgot to tell her. She is still cute. Hope to here from you soon.

Hi Gabriele, You can go on my site to see some pictures of adult aussiedoodles. these pictures are from Blazingstardoodles that Nikki very kindly let me put on my site untill my babies grow up. My pups do not get as big as Nikkis but they do have fleece coats likes hers do. She has some lovely dogs and is very nice.

Hi Aussie folks
I am curious about what the fully grown up coats are looking like on a Aussiedoodle?
I have a 2 yr old goldendoodle.

Hey everyone!
I am looking forward to being part of this group. Krimmi is 6 1/2 month old. He is our first doodle. Hopefully I will be able to ask advice because he is definitely unlike any other dog I have owned. It has taken me quite a while to bond with him. I don't know why, my husband thinks I compare him to much to our other dogs (both have passed away) and maybe he is right. He is sooooo different but I am really trying. He's going to be with us for a long time so I have decided to emerge myself into doodle life and figured this is the place to be. The line I use most often on him is "you are so lucky you are cute" lol
