Mt. Rushmore, Badlands National Park, and Custer State Park Trip

We traveled to South Dakota last week and visited  Mt. Rushmore, etc.

I guess its a good thing we took our trip last week, because the parks are closed now.

I was JUST in South Dakota too! And North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and Nebraska. Not so much to sight-see but to run a bunch of half-marathons. But my friends and I did go to Mt. Rushmore.

Wonderful!  My favorite is, of course, the up close and personal buffalo.    We visited the  amazingly gorgeous National parks in southern Utah, Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona last week and were very thankful that the closures were after our long planned for trip.
