[Dos Doodles--Sam & Luke]

OK, I'm using this photo as the current banner on my blog.  My husband says it's really not a good photograph (hates the composition, pretty much everything about this picture).  I like it.  Am I not seeing it?

I'm actually looking for some notes, here. I would love some feedback.  I have a LOT to learn and I guess I need to start somewhere!  :-)

I like the photo, but it would be better if the dogs were closer together I think. It kind of distracts from the focus to have them on opposite ends.

I agree with Camilla. I like the photo too, but I think if they were a little closer together it would look better. But the headless person walking on the beach bothers me more. See if you like this any better...

Joy, the photo looks much better without the headless man, now see if it looks even better by removing the

large dark mound behind the dood on the left.   Just a thought!   lol  !

I think it's a wonderful banner photo for your blog! (Which is awesome, btw!) And I like the space between the two doodles. (The one on the right is sitting nicely in the rule-of-thirds "sweet spot.") I also like the foggy pier in the background! IMHO, all you need to do is remove the headless person on the left.

I think it is great. You notice the 2 DOODLES...the foggy water back area is nice. Everything else is nitpicking. If you had to edit then to go for the seaweed and people and the rock behind the dog. BUT... I think it's an honest,clean shot of 2 beautiful dogs. Plain and simple. Stick with what you like, it's your blog. :)
