Hey everyone.... it's been a while!
I always thought that once I graduated I'd have so much more free time - ha ha! I have missed the PG so much. I have been "lurking" in the discussions and watching all of the photos - which are beautiful! I just thought I'd give a photo/life update to anyone who may have been wondering where I was. or if you weren't, maybe you are just curious. Or if you aren't curious... maybe just move to the next discussion. He he.
I think a lot of you read that we were building a new townhome to be finished at the end of April. Well, that ended up being quite a fiasco. Basically, the builder told us that we had permission to have our large dog there, they said it would be no problem. Then in February we found out that the HOA would not allow large dogs despite the fact that the builder specifically said they would. After a lot of back and forth they basically said "you can bring him but we could force you to get rid of him at any time". So obviously, we had to say goodbye to our townhome.
The good news is that we were able to change to a different home community with single family homes, so Darwin is going to get a BIG yard! It will be done at the beginning of August and we are very excited. It's clear that this is a much better fit for us. All of this new house building stuff has been so much more exhausting/consuming than we expected, so we've kind of let a lot of things drop as we figure everything out. Hopefully I can get back into the groove of things now!
I also stopped doing my 52 week challenge, which is unfortunate. I always thought that being too busy would be what stopped me from doing the challenge but really it was just not having anything to take pictures of. This winter has been smoggy and gross and I just haven't felt inspired. Now that spring is here I'm feeling antsy and ready to start taking pictures again so here I come March assignment!
I've missed you all so much!

You are awesome! I know there are people out there who would have moved in anyway...and then listed their dog for re-home. We all know you would never do that! I know you will all enjoy your new home with Darwin's back yard.
I do think that is what the seller expected us to do. But of course, we would never ever do that.
We are very excited to move in to the new place, thanks!
So happy for you all Camilla. Darwin is going to love having his own yard! Congratulations to you and hubby. It sounds like all of your hard work is paying off!
Thank you!
