Swimming and Ear Infections??
Samantha went 'swimming' in Florida and 4 days later was at the vet with an ear infection. I don't recall her scratching her ear before the beach so I don't know when it started.
Any thoughts if the 2 are related? She has had 1 ear infection in the same ear in June (at 4 months old).

Do you clean her ears after each time she swims or baths? You can get a solutioin from the store or make your own out of alcohol and vinegar 50/50. We do this and have never had an ear infection. GL :)

No I didn't but I did when she went into the ocean last Sunday and did it for several days. I am glad to report that her ears look great. I will never make that mistake again!

Since the ear infection has been twice in June she could have a seasonal allergy. I use swim ear in my doodles ears. I used it for my kids. So far so good.
