This is what a NADAC Tunnelers course looks like for anyone interested. This is where Murphy made up his own course.

Hi Jane, I started with just a buckle collar and leash.(actually it was vera bradley and very "girlie") I wish I had started with the martingale leash. I special ordered mine from www.kollarsbykathryn.com It is a really fun web site with agility pictures and the leash I ordered was the collar/leash combo.
I really like it!!

Hello to all,
I have a question. How do you get your doodle an AKC number to run AKC course???

Hi Everyone,
We did have a lot of fun.
Linda, the course was AKC. We had jumps, weaves, tunnel, chute, dogwalk,
a frame, table and teeter.

Excellent Kim and Parris! Sounds like she is ready for the real thing.
Was this an AKC course? (with teeter and table) She doesn't sound like the maniac Murphy is (of course his handler is probably the problem).
I am very impressed and hope to run into you at a trial very soon.

Hi Everybody,
I am happy to report that Parris did very well at the canine capers run-thrus yesterday. We got to do 4 runs on a Novice course. Two out of the four were clean runs. I was really proud of her. We had so much fun, but I must admit my adrenaline was up!!! The only "errors" we made were my fault, but It made it even more fun when I corrected it the next run. It was funny, on the last run, the last obstacle was the chute. Parris loves the chute but for some reason she stopped in the middle and wouldn't move. There was a little "doodlebump" in the chute. Then, when I opened the chute, Parris shot out!!! It was cute. Everybody laughted. Leave it to a doodle to get a laugh!! You never know what they are gonna do.

LeAnn,
Thanks for all of he information. I have attended AKC trials and there was a USDAA event at LSU 2 weeks ago (I had other obligations).
The people I know that attended really enjoyed it. NADAC is more readily available here and I like their format. I've not seen any UKC events but I will check on that. My friend has 2 PWDs. Murphy dwarfs them.
Nancy, I live across the lake from New Orleans. Its still beautiful and charming and I hope you get a chance to come back. What a great place to get engaged!
Mardi Paws is really cool. (they have the Krewe of Barkus in the Quarter) Its a fund raiser for a good cause and everyone has fun.
One of the instructors invited all of the students to an AKC agility trial that was relatively close. When I showed up with Murphy, she told me only AKC dogs were allowed at the event. I should tell everyone he was an Irish Wolfhound if anyone asked. (like he had the plague or something). I don't know if that is true or not.
Nancy, I think I just have so little free time that I choose not to waste my energy on people I don't enjoy being around. Murphy (for the most part LOL) brings me great joy and I feel very fortunate to be a "doodle person".

Jane, I don't have any videos, but there are some pics on my page along with a link to the photograghers photos.
