February Arizona Doodle Romp

Hi all, Our next romp is on Feb.13th. and I just visited the new park :
Paseo Vista Recreation Area
3850 S. McQueen Rd.
north of Ocotillo Rd. west side of McQueen Rd.

It was very nice and has several fenced area's. ALso has grass all over. Atho it's dry, brown grass, it's not dirt tho. It was very clean and has water fountains for the dogs as well as clean-up bags available. I would like to have our next romp there and see what you think.

Should we do a Valentine's Day theme ? For all our little Doodle Valentines. Who we all know are the love's of our lives.

What time are you meeting. Sorry, but I don't see it and it would be our first doddle romp.

Hi Linda, We meet at 10:00 am and usually are there till about 12 p.m. We have a great group and lots of doodle fun. We meet in Mesa at a members home every other month, with a very nice back yard and usually have a nice lunch. Then starting April we will be having them at my new home which has a half acre of back yd. And I live right by the new dog park we will be at on Feb 13th. It's especially nice having private yards to go to as we don't have any other dog personalities to deal with, the area is always clean and there is seating to relax and enjoy watching your dog have fun.

How old is your doodle? So glad you're coming for your first romp. You'll both meet some nice new friends.

I thought the Doodle Romp was at Snedigar Sports Complex in Chandler. Evidently this is a different Doodle group? Is it too late to join this group tomorrow...how many are coming? What do we need to bring...where do we go, etc. Our Doodle (Lucie is 11 months old and she is VERY sociable).

I guess we're going to miss the Doodle romp as I thought it was on Sunday. Well, we'll be at the next one.

Sorry for the confusion. I've been having to un-confuse everyone since the meetup.com site was taken over. I had originally started that group last Sept. and let the membership run out in Jan, when Chris paid the dues and took it over for one month. In that time I think she had a few romps. I was never able to get up to Scottsdale to attend so I'm sorry to say I have never met her.

Sundays seem to be a nice time for people to meet too and since I will be out with Murphy tomorrow at that time I will go to Snedigar at 10:00 just to see if people who are aware of the intended Snedigar Romp show up and aren't dissapointed. I have Murphy who is an apricot doodle and I will try to bring Marley who is a white doodle. Please try to come anyway and we can meet?

Suzanne, I think you are confused because the Meetup.com site was taken over by someone else and she had planned to have a romp at Snedigar on Sunday, however has since then given her doodle to a very nice family and as far as I know will no longer be holding romps. It has been confusing, but this is the Original and only Arizona Doodle Romp again that I'm aware of.

We are meeting today at 10:00 at the above location. We have anywhere from 12-18 doodles at our romps and there is nothing to bring to this one. It is a new dog park and very nice and clean. I have made red valentines bandannas for our doods. They will go to the first 14 that come, as that is all the material I had.

I hope to meet you and Lucie today, but if not I will keep this group informed for the March one that will be held in Mesa at Ricks home again. You can also be included in our personal email notice if you private email me with your address.
