best books

Whats is everyone's favorite book(s)? I live in a small town so there aren't many good books at the school or local library.

I like David Rosenfelt's books. They have a subtle humor and their is a series about a lawyer with a golden retriever.

I also like Kate Morton's historical fiction, the "Prey" series with Lucas Davenport, most of Lisa See's books, especially Snow Flower and Secret Fan.

I second Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, one of my favorites! Some other favorites are These Is My Words by Nancy Turner and Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson. Both are clean romances with a lot of wit and great story lines.

Guess I posted in the wrong discussion. Check out Dean Koontz's book "Whispers". It is a story about a golden retriever who has artificial intelligence.
