I am very sad to hear of your loss MT but I am wondering about the total truth of your story.  I am probably one of the first members here to have a Goldendoodle from Christy and my husband and I think the world of her.  We have sent many friends to her for their Doodles.  Not one complaint has come from anyone about Christy or her ethics.  She has always made it very clear that she only accepts cash.  She also will take back any puppy that someone deems to suitable for them.  She even offered to take our Gracie Doodle when we traveled.  She was always welcome but we ended up not needing to take up her generous offer.  We did take Gracie out to visit from time to time and I have kept Christy updated on Gracie and send photos.  I would never consider purchasing another Doodle that ISN'T from Christy.  She is as honest as they come.  I am skeptical about what you have posted.  You said "We were aware he is a runt of the litter but we did not know that he was anemic which has caused him to past away after nine months" My question to you is did you take the puppy straight to the vet when you purchased  him for a well check?  At that time there should have been stool, urine and blood tests done and any thing wrong with the puppy would have shown up immediately.  I have never heard of anyone or any animal dying from being anemic if it is diagnosed in time and treated.  And 9 months later???  Something just does not sound right.  These puppies are like baby children and you must treat them as such.  I would tend to question your lack of care and working together with the Vet to have kept this puppy healthy.

As far as saying Christy is it it only for the money that is a complete untruth and you are hurt and just lashing out at her.  My husband and I sat down and did the math once.  We were just curious to know how much breeders do make and if it is a profitable business.  After putting it on paper we concluded that she pretty much breaks even and is not getting rich breeding Goldendoodles.  Christy has been hands on with dogs and puppies since she was 12 years old and it was then Golden Retrievers.  She is a mother of four small children.  Her passion are her family and her Doodles.  The way you are slandering Christy's reputation is totally uncalled for and all you need to do is read all the positive remarks about Christy in this forum.  You are the only one who has put a black mark on it.  I also don't see anywhere that you have even been a member long or active at all on DoodleKisses.  I don't think your intent to join our wonderful group had any positive intentions.  You joined only to vent about a tragedy that happened to your Doodle and discredit Christy's Goldendoodles.  I think you would do better to look to yourself and how the puppy was handled, medically taken care of and overall treated during it's short 9 months.  Again, I am very sorry for your loss but I do think you are totally out of place posting here and accusing Christy of such things.

Hello,

Very sad to see that a big lie has been told by MT. What really happened was that her husband dropped the puppy on his head  almost killing him. He negelected to get medical treatment therfore the puppy suffered a major head injury. Could not eat correctly, could not grow correctly. I will never call, or contact this person in any way. They make me SICK! how dare them blame me for what they have done to ther beautiful goldendoodle. I focus on all my happy puppy owners that love and care for there goldendoodles the REGHT way. Oh, and for the check cashing....I went straight to the bank because I do not take personal checks when your are taking the puppy from my home, but this person begged me to take a check which made me wonder.....If you see any further comments from this person Slandering me please ignore and you are welcome to contact me via email.

Thanks to all my happy wonderful goldendoodle owners who contacted me right away about this person bad mouthing me.

Have a great Sunday!!!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. We bought a Doodle from Christy about1 1/2 years ago and have had very good luck with our Doodle. She is very healthy. Christy has been in this business for a very long time and I'm sure she will take care of this. Christy has been busy with new litters but I'm sure she will get back to you. Christy takes her business seriously, I remember when I went to pick up my Ellie Girl we had to disinfect our shoes and hands before entering the puppy area. As for cashing the check this is her business and lifeline and actually we had to take cash when picking up our girl because really if the check wasn't good and we are off with the puppy what could she do.
Be patient she will take care of this.
Again so sorry for your loss.
Regards,
Jolene

So sorry I havent been on. I thought she was a standard.. LOL but she is 10 months and weighs 55 lbs. I don't think her little legs are gonna let her get any taller. She is soooo different in personality from Samson.

She is so cute and fluffy.  Is she a medium or a standard?

Hi Nancie...Maggie Lou was born 11/12/06, and I believe Gracie Doodle was born a few months later, right?  They're not exactly littermates, per se, but they have similar DNA.  I enjoy seeing the resemblance in both of them.  Have you found an exact  littermate to Gracie Doodle?  We coincidentally met Maggie's littermate brother a few years ago at Balboa dog park, and he looked exactly like Maggie (except he was bigger).  It was like observing identical twins, with similar mannerisms and movements.  We should try and meet at dog beach or a dog park some time?

Hey Bev...does that mean that Maggie and Gracie Doodle are sisters?  When was Maggie born?
Comment by Bev and Maggie Lou on September 15, 2011 at 8:41pm

Maggie's parents were also Dudley and Roxie, and we remember meeting Duncan and seeing Sidney in the kennel.  Sidney had a striking coat at the time.  Christy's children were constantly holding and playing with the puppies, which has a lot to do with our dogs' sweetness and gentleness. Christy has had decades of breeding experience, and it definitely shows!  We're lucky doodle owners!
