Please do NOT get the one I got. I saw this on one of the doodle talking sites and rushed to order it. I had my 68 pound doodle in it and the thing collapsed!! The legs are not nearly strong enough to hold it up. I ordered the one for extra large dogs because one of my doodles is 80 pounds. Hope this helps.
Thank you for letting us know. I am also looking for a tub idea for outside. I want it elevated for my back, too. I wonder if it would work if you put it on cement blocks or something.
Bonnie, I know it would work if my husband would build a stationery stand for it. The concept is great. Just not quality material for the legs. They were actually screwed in place and still buckled under the weight. I liked it because there is no standing water in the tub. It goes out the hose on the bottom. I wanted to use it under the shelter and shade of my carport. Hubby is still 'thinking' about how to make it. BOL

Yikes- must have scared you doodle and you when it collapsed. Did you put manufacturer on notice? I would try for a refund on that deal!
Pet Edge grooming supply company has tubs
I decided early on after several failed attempts at finding a good groomer that I would just start doing it myself. However, I knew that my back was not going to tolerate bending over the bathtub, so I started the search for a dog tub. Then we added the electric grooming table which I use to lift them into and out of the tub. Then the added the cabinets for all the storage of all the junk that goes along with having and grooming 2 large doodles. We are happy with our set up. Although there are some other tubs on the market now that I would maybe consider if we were doing it again. FYI though, even with the raised tub there is still some bending involved in the bathing process. It is more like just leaning forward ... but the back does take a hit still.
Oh Lucy! You are liven' the dream! What a nifty set up!
I would LOOOOOOOOOOVE to have that setup for my Parker and Maggie!!! NICE!!
We are getting a utility sink on legs. I want to be able to groom inside (installing in my laundry room) so the backless one is not an option for me. My husband is picking ours up at Home Depot today! Some of the stores have them in stock and it has to be a special order at others. It is a single utility sink that is 3 ft long so it will be perfect for Willa. We will add a sprayer for easy rinsing. My and my back are so relieved! But poor Willa......though she LOVES to play in water of all kinds.....she hates getting a bath (even though I try to make it as fun as possible).
