I've used the first two. I tend to alternate between them from brushing to brushing and honestly haven't noticed a big difference between them. My pup is only 8 mos. so still pretty new at this and haven't encountered the dreaded coat change yet. Just wondering if anyone has opinions on the best detanglers.
I had Ned wear a Martingale collar the other day and he developed huge mats under and behind it on his upper back. Stupid me! What did I think the rubbing would do. Well, back to the leather collar and lots of Cowboy Magic tonight.
Hi Andrea ~ Happy Thanksgiving! Hope all is well! Just saw you had Zoe groomed... how did that go? It took us a few groomers to finally find one that I liked. Just had her groomed yesterday too and not too happy with her nose... she trims the bridge. But still okay - Gotta' remind her next time to leave that fuller. All in all it took FOUR groomers until I didn't come home crying. Hope all went well for YOU! Love to see new pictures with her new doo :O) shell
A Place for Paws has the most amazing display of colors. I got Zoe's new one there. She doesn't seem to mat at the collar site. Only place though. They are by Elwood and Jericho.
Wow ! That was far from home! Actually my kids go to Jiu jitsu (martial arts) down there on Larkfiled Rd.. I'll have to check it out! We bring Tori to a woman who works behind Pets supply Plus in Smithtown. Kathi's My-T-Fine Canine - she's actually getting her own place now right across from where she is now. she's good ~ at times I wonder how she is after we leave since Tori always gives me a hard time going in, but she does do such a great job. Just not too happy this time with the way she trimmed the top of her nose. I'll have to be more specific next time!
Spud HATES Mane and Tail Conditioner and the Shampoo. He will growl when I squeeze it out of the bottle. HATES IT!
He loves Cowboy Magic. I tried to explain the cost difference between the two products--Mane and Tail are so much less expensive. He doesn't understand. Anyone want 3 large bottles of the Mane and Tail product?
I mean, can you just see Spud explaining his name to that Ivy League College with the snobby Buffys and Sandys and Chips??? No way! He is a very down-to-earth guy. Once you explain all of this to him, I am sure he will just suggest that you add a little Cowboy Magic to his Mane and Tail shampoo and all will be well.
