Charli loves the snow--even likes to make snow angels. She much prefers the cold weather to the heat--we often finding her just sitting or laying in the snow after we put her outside. We hope to have our monthly doodle romp at the Waukegan dog park the last Saturday of January--in the snow. Had to cancel December's cause it got too warm and made a melted mess there!

Hello from Aurora, Taffy also loves the snow, I usually have to brush out the snowballs on the feet. We will see how she feels about the cold temps we are to get here in the next day or two.

Hello Shannon,
If your dog is like ours, it's impossible to keep them out of snowbanks! The deeper the snow, the happier they are! We've just learned to keep their hair on the bottom of their feet clipped and let them enjoy the snow. They are happy dogs.

Hello! I am in Downtown Chicago and would love to meet up and let the doodles play! I have a 7 month old F1 Doodle....also any advice on keeping the ice chunks out of their paws and coat?

Hi just wondering anybody close to where I live ,want to have the dogs play together.Mine is 7 month and needs to be more with other dogs.I don't really know anybody with dogs close by.

Great groomer in Roselle, in case anyone is looking for one. We've had 2 great experiences at Elena's Shear Magic in Roselle on Irving Park Road (by the train station). Owner has groomed and shown poodles all her life...so she's very comfy with the doodle coats. I haven't had Cooper groomed short (or shaved), just a long cut for winter. His ears turned out great as well as any extra instructions I gave them.

Just wanted to say hi,I live in Illinois, Hanover Park and have a 6 month old Goldendoodle mini,her name is Abby.She was spayed on Monday and is doing great.A little bit to active.
