Gwyndolyn, Kona is very cute! Thanks for sharing!

Kona actually looks a lot like a smaller version of the photo on the main page of this forum.  Here he is in September on my front lawn (He turned 2 years old on Sept. 30)

And this summer at a concert in the park with his adopted sister Maggie (wanna-be-doodle sheepdog)

And several months ago

And last Halloween when he was 1 years old

Christina, the looks and shedding of your new double doodle will depend on how many generations the parents are. Kona doesn't shed at all. His mom is an F1B Goldendoodle, and his dad is a multi gen australian Labradoodle that goes bake many generations to the Tegan farms in Australia, so it was a little more predictable that he wouldn't shed. Still not guaranteed. He is a large miniature double doodle.

Hi, we are about to get a double doodle and were wondering what to expect for looks as an adult. What about shedding, I was told it was still very, very low. Thanks for any input.

He is a little more "normal" each day (meaning more and more silly cartoon dog).  They searched everything (brain scans, brain fluid, MRI, xrays, blood, urine) and they couldn't find anything that caused it, so I'll have to watch him for recurrance to see if he has an autoimmune issue that is sensitive to triggers.  I have several myself that are triggered by several things, so I can relate to my poor puppy.  I'm glad that it wasn't any tumors or infectious diseases, but it would have been nice to know what caused it.  He was in his usual hardwood floor area with no extra food or treats or pills or anything around him, so it is a puzzle!

But to answer your question, I know lots of doodles and I've never heard of any of them getting puppy strangles, so I doubt that it's a higher probability of doodles getting it.

Poor baby! I just went through a scare with my Kona where they couldn't find the source of his vertigo and it's hard to watch them suffer. I hope your girl gets better!

I have never heard of that.  What are the symptoms and what is the prognosis?

That is so cool Nancy! I was hoping to meet one of Rigby's litter mates on here!!! How big is Milo? We asked for a big boy and hope that Rigby keeps growing! As of this morning before breakfast he's 52 pounds. And 23 inches tall at the whithers.

Hi Stephanie. I own one of Rigby's brothers, Milo. He is a great big sweet heart.
