Does anyone know what this is?

I took this today. It reall is much brighter yellow than it looks and covered several inches. I didn't look like spittle fly leavings, which I've seen before. It's up front, where the doodles don't go.

I think so. I will try to examine again in daylight. I didn't notice the red before I posted the picture.

Yipes - it looks like Tigger threw up the sheepskin gingerbread man.  That's probably not it though.

It could be a slime mold called (believe it or not!) Dog Vomit Fungus.

I did answer this but I see no response from me : ( That no doubt is correct. It definitely looks like vomit but not like my dogs' vomit ever does. Here is an updated picture from yesterday. It seems to evolve.
