What is your favorite rose?
I am looking to replace one of my red roses - anyone have a favorite that is disease resistant? I am also looking for a special climber.
My all time favorite rose is "Marilyn Monroe" hybrid tea rose. It is a beautiful creamy apricot.

My favorite red rose is Olympic. It was released in 1984 for the Oympics in Los Angeles that year. It is a disease resistant hybrid tea with truly red blooms that do not fade to rose or plummy red. For a hybrid tea it is fairly prolific, but has no significant smell.

This sounds like one I need to check out. I do love some of the fragrances but you can't get it all sometimes!

I had no idea there were so many different kinds of roses! They are all pretty. I think the Marilyn Munroe is beautiful.

I have a new favorite! Sugar moon. She isn't even planted yet but she smells divine and is so beautiful. We'll see how she does in the garden.
