I started this group so that those of us who needed a little accountability could come here and receive the encouragement and the little nudge we need to get our the door (or in if that works) and take care of ourselves. I'm still here if anyone needs help or just someone to talk to.



Show up everyday and post something for each of the points numbers below and receive one point. We will have a weekly parade for the winner plus, some surprises along the way....and a give away at the end of the year.



1) Some kind of physical activity...Anything....As long as you are challenged.
2) Something JUST for you..ie: mani, pedi, bath, book....something to rejuvenaete yourself.
3) Post a motivational or inspiring quote that will keep us going through the week.
4) Share ONE healthy choice you made during the day. It's good to share ideas with others.

I know we all get busy and fitness isn't always at the top of our lists but....I have two young doodles and a precious family that I want to be my best for. I hope you'll make the time to encourage me and I will do the same for you.

Thanks so much for keeping up with the posting.  Sorry I haven't been the best about posting...going to try to be better about that!

 

Monday

1.  Walked 2 miles with DH & Buddy...also jogged a little on and off during the walk.

2.  Planning on doing the nails today...new color!

3.  Today is the first day of the rest of your life!

4.  Not sure what the day holds...will post later and see how I did! :)

 

 I gotta be better at this  I have been slipping !!!!

 

     Maybe its that glass of wine????!!!!!!

 

  Starting back up again today !!!

Doing a little better this week had an exhausting day yesterday with the kids  but . . .  at least I didn't chow down on chips when I got home  I had a bananna and some strawberries,  NOrmally I would go for the chips !!!

Before my vacation I lost 5lbs. It took me 3 months to slowly loose that. I was eating reasonably healthy and exercising most evenings for 1/2 hour to 1 hour. im also on my feet all day at work, so i was dissapointed it took me so long to loose such a small amount.

 

3 weeks vacation and I have put on 6lbs (so has DH). So today (before the weigh in) I walked for 1/2 hour on my lunch break and took Cooper for a 1/2 hour walk (usually we tire her out with a 20 min fetch session in the back yard). But then we scoffed the packet of Scottish Shortbread we brought back from our trip! Gotta make sure theres nothing in the house to tempt us right?!
