Okay, I have been so busy that I haven't gotten the chance to share what I've been doing for the past few weeks, but will catch up here.

I have run in two 5K races in the past month, placing 1st in my age group in one (I am old). :)

I started bootcamp right about the time Donna started this group and I go 4 mornings a week @ 5:30 am for one hour. It is intense and I am finally, after 4 weeks beginning to see the strength and aerobic abilities increase. So my exercise workouts are not a problem and having a group and trainer to report to every day makes it easy to stay accountable.

As for something nice....I took a NAP with my doodles yesterday! Today I bought a pair of running pants for those cold early mornings, and Wed I went to the library to get 7 books on dog training and started reading one. So I am good in the something nice to yourself dept too,.

As for inspirational quote for the day:

Patience with God is Faith.
Patience with self is Hope.
Patience with others is Love.

And eating: Oatmeal with protein powder and blueberries was the highlight of my day so far!

I am running 4 miles with 2 girlfriends at 6 am tomorrow morning !

So that's all I can share for now and will report back next week! thanks for starting this as it came at a great time when I was deciding about leaving work, and one issue that persuaded me was that I have gotten SO out of shape and had NO time to myself. Great group. keep it up girls.

HELLO FRIENDS!!!!

Sorry I have not been around much this week.  We hve so much going on right now that I harldy have time to breath.  We can finally start walking Penny this week so that will be a big help.

 

I've been doing really well with my eating plan, but not making any time for myself except to watch a show or two here and there.  I'm looking forward to a better week.  WOW! Looks like you have all been reporting in.  We'll start our new challenge this week and I'll crown the queen a little later.
