Ibuprophen emergency

[Dee Dee & "Bentley"]

My 1 year old doodle got a hold of the bottle of 200mg ibuprophen (motrin).  After 72 hours on IV's to reverse kidney failure he is doing wonderful now. I caution everyone... these guys are sneaky and can get into everything.  Even 1,  200mg ibuprophen can cause kidney damage. Not sure how much my little guy got. Thankful for the ER vets that saved his life.  It's been a nightmare of anxiety and worry over this sad situation that could have been avoided.  Needless to say I feel horrible about this as it could have been prevented had I been more alert.

Glad Bentley is doing well.  Sometimes it doesn't matter how close you watch them - they are sneaky.

Thank you so much for alerting us.  Some of us already know but a reminder never hurts, but many do not know, so this is extremely important for them.
