Karen, she wasn't thirsty she just loooooooves to play in water!! If someone turns the spiket on she's right there to play. The problem is after she gets wet she rolls in the dirt... ugh... oh and we're still working on her jumping on people.. it's bad.. very bad.. she just gets soooo excited.

LeAnn, I love this picture. That is something that Lucille Ball would of done. Was she thirsty or too hot and needed to cool down. LOL LOL LOL

When I picked out my "Lucy" I fully intended naming her Sophia but her antics in the 3 hour ride home dictated that I name her Lucy! She's an absolute RIOT... here's a picture of her putting her head completely under the water spiket at the dog park. Also, she can be a football field away but when I give the classic "Luuuuuucy" call she runs as fast as a bullet. It's astounding!

I'm glad your daughters are enjoying the wonderful pics on this site. My boyfriend thinks I'm doodle crazy. I can't explain how much lucy has managed to get under my skin, these dogs are so wonderful.

Tammy- your red"head" is gorgeous! We were tempted by one, but was not from a healthy place ( mall store). Hard to 'splain to the kids we couldn't "rescue" her ( we'd support a business we weren't sure of). My daughters are loving looking at all the videos and silly pictures on this site. I hope we have more Lucys on board soon! I could make an "ILL" poster with all their pictures!

I must admit. I would love a few extra doodles in the different colour ranges. I am in the process of getting a second though. She is a beautiful FB1 (Lucy's half sister). Her name is Ella May. She is 5 months old and has had a rough start. She has been returned to the breeder twice. I think one return was an inexperienced dog owner. The second return was a bladder stone that we are unsure of why it occured. The vet has her on special food and we are crossing our fingers that this will resolve. I am hoping to pick her up next week and will post the new pics as soon as I can. I guess I could post some pics here if her nick name is "LLL" aka Lucy's little sister???

That is funny Liz, Every time I come home from work weather it is at 3:30 or 11:30Pm my DH has Lucy outside waiting for me and that is the first thing I say to her...... LUUUCCCY, I'MMMMMMM HOOOMME!!!!! She wiggles her butt and gets all excited. I am also telling her, You have some spain'n to do, at times.
