Nimbus is a great blend of both parents. I love Kona's ears. They are the same tone as my Kona's ears. Nimbus ears are the color of Maggie's ears.

LOL. Biscuit! Nimbus' dad Kona is only 17 to 20 lbs and his mom Hazel is 25 lbs. Kona is taller, though. Hazel has more white, her ears are sort of apricot. Kona's are much darker, which I love! I'll attach pictures of his parents.

No.  Neutering shouldn't have any effect on his growth. Kona grew several more pounds after his neutering at 6 months.  The thing keeping him small is strong genetics on the smaller parent side.  That's what happened with Kona.  His mom was 40 pounds, but Kona only reached 24 pounds.  (His dad was 20 pounds)

Paul just looked at this photo of Nimbus and we both realized that Nimbus is an exact morphing of Kona and Maggie! So danged cute!  I love his little biscuit colored ears.

Thank you, Lori and Judy! Nimbus is from Tropico Kennels in Palmdale.

Do you guys think the growing stop has anything to do with the time of being neutered? Some people say that there will be no more growing once neutered. We'll see. He's fabulous either way and we love him to pieces!

Hmmm...I posted from my phone earlier, but they aren't here.  Nimbus does look a lot like Kona right before he got his adult curly hair.  Adorable!  I miss that soft puppy hair!  Hopefully Nimbus will still keep his.  Kona was full grown at 8 months. The smaller the parents, the quicker they stop growing.  My niece's giant standard didn't quit growing until he was about 16 months at 120 pounds.

Adorable, who's the breeder to have a toy so small.  We'd love another around 25lbs or under..

Helga, I know that by 6 months old Daphne had finished growing. SHe has filled out a little since then but her total weight is still just 21 lbs.

Nimbus is now 6 months old and weighs 17.5 lbs. He is about 15-16" tall. I would like for him to grow a little bit taller. Should I expect him to be done growing already?

His dad is an F1B and weighs about 17 lbs, and the mom is an F1 at 25 lbs. Dad is tallerbut slim. Nimbus is an F2B and most of the breeder's mimis are between 15 and 25 lbs. She even breeds Toy sized ones that only reach adult weights of 5-12 lbs.
