Toys for Two -- What To Do?

When you are purchasing a new toy for your doods do you purchase more than one of the same toy or do you buy different toys?  We have on a few occassions bought the same thing, but normally buy 2 different toys.  Tonight though they are both into the same toy and the other one is laying unnoticed  The strange part is that it is Lucy that is insisting on having the one toy and she is normally the one that doesn't care she just takes whichever one is left over.  Sophie doesn't want to play with it, she just doesn't want Lucy to have it.  It is making for lots of barking.

Depends upon the toy. Bones - one for each. Fuzzy balls - one for Gordie and one for Ned. Other toys never the same unless I just want a multiple to save back for later. We just bought our first antler and bought only one. Now that I know they all like it, I will buy more.

Well, they both love balls so I get lots of them.. they are broken in half and split open with in a day or two :) Motta loves his stuffed babies but Miley doesn't care for them she likes ropes with balls so I usually get different toys I guess.

I get two antlerz, nylabones, etc. Usually I get different toys because I have found that when I get two identical toys both dogs still want the same one and the other lies unnoticed!

How about toys for three? I always buy a toy for each as they can rotate. They always want the toy the other one has in their mouth. LOL!

I alway bought three of the same toy and have finally given up squearer toys as it looked like it snowed when they are through. I have never picked cotton and I am not going to continue with toys with squeakers in them. Has anybody tried the Naturally Stuffed Cow Hoofs. They last several hours for aggresive chewers. I buy at EntirelyPets.com for 3.50 @ as opposed to 5.95 at feed stores. It is the whole hoof (foot) of a cow and all three love them. They get one every Sunday morning. I never realized cows had so many joints in there hoof. They do not smell like the small hoof pieces. They are baked!

Stuffed animals-I buy one at a time and they share. Sheba usually guts them after a half hour. But they love to play tug of war with what is left.
Chewy toys, antlers etc.- I buy one for each.
