Sadie loves the snow...she buries her head underneath and "tunnels" headfirst. She doesn't mind the cold or the wind at all.

I finally found it. I have been searching for something for the New England Doodles! I am new to the site and am trying to see if there are any play dates or anything along those lines planned that my dog can join in on. He is a wonderful Aussiepoo who loves to play. He is just over 1 so he still has that dopey puppyness to him (which i really hope never goes away). He goes to the dog park in Wethersfield usually at least once a week and loves ever minute of it. If anyone is in the area and would like to meet up at that park, or if you know of any others in the area please let me know!

Quinn just turned 3 and Suzie Q. is almost two! We live in CT - and they love to romp with other dogs. We have been going to Dog Park at Larkin's Run Kennel Thursday nights at 7. It's great - it's supervised by a dog trainer who is wonderful, and there is a fee, but well worth it. It's a totally fenced in area, with a double entry so there is little chance of escape. Both of my dogs are australian labradoodles from Olympic Labradoodles in Seattle, Washington. And before there are any comments about how dogs should fly, etc, both came back in the cabin with an escort - my husband!!! and a friend. They are wonderful dogs, very, very smart. and Quinn (the black one) is a magnificent cuddler! Hope to see some events and get some advice from other doodle owners. By the way, does anyone know of a groomer who will scissor cut in CT? Every one wants to shave, and I know that mats need to be cut out, etc., etc., but when it comes to grooming, they just want to shave. Quinn has the wooly coat which will go into dred locks when long, and is so handsome. Suzie Q. has the fleece coat and she mats terribly. I brush/comb her, Les Pooches brush, slicker, etc., but I can't stay on top of it!

Yay! New England Doodles is just what I was looking for! Our Mazie is an 18-month-old Goldendoodle and LOVES to play with other dogs - any breed, any size. Of course any friendly dog is a welcome friend for us, but I'd especially like to meet other doodle owners. We live in Dedham, but Mazie LOVES to go in the car, so we're fairly mobile. Where is everybody?

Hi,
I live in Northampton Monday though Friday, and bring my 4month old mini australian labradoodle to camp, at itspawsible dog camp (Westhampton MA) when I go to work. Paddy LOVES the camp. On weekends we return northeast to Groton, MA for our weekends. We have plenty of time in the woods and on trails on the weekend!

Hi, I have a 13 mo. old mini goldendoodle (Angus). We live in Dartmouth, MA. The Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust (DNRT) manages lots of wooded trail systems in our town -- miles of them! They are great for walking off-leash (have leash handy). We also go to a couple of area beaches off-season to walk trails and play along the shore. I also know of a great daycare/boarding place I've used many times (Janet's Doggie Daycare). The dogs get to romp outside most of the day.
