Northern VA Area Doodle Group. We schedule monthly Doodle Romps to get our doodles together to play. Winter Romps are going to be held outdoors now at the Beatley Library Dog Park on Duke Street in Alexandria.

Is there a person/family that is willing to take over this group? My family has recently moved out of the area and can no longer manage this group and organize the Doodle Romps... Please contact me if anyone is still interested in keeping this group going -

Parking is at the library parking lot. This is a pretty large fenced in area with plently of trees, benches, grass, and drinking water. The crowd there is pretty regular and are always friendly to newcomers.
This place is easy to find:
Take 395 to Duke Street Exit (EAST)
Continue on Duke Street about 2 1/2 miles and it's on your left right before the Library.

Yes, I am available for Sat Aug 28 at my house, if anyone wants to come to a doodle romp! Please bring a drink for yourself, I will have some snacks. How about 10: 00 am to 12:00?

Diane, still think we can get our doodles together on Saturday? Joplin is so eager to play.. and we have yet to find a fellow dog friend who isn't mean or terrified of other dogs. I'd love her to get to play with your sweet dogs. Just let me know! :) Thanks a lot!

That sounds wonderful! Thanks for opening your yard to us! :) I would love to bring something to share. If that Saturday works well for you lets go for it, if another day is better just let me know! :)

I have a pretty big fenced yard, where I am comfortable with the dogs playing together. That way they can be off leash.
If you are comfortable coming to my house, people could bring drinks or a snack to share and we can sit on the deck and the doods can play in the yard.

No there's not, that sure would be nice though! I'm new to this, is there anywhere nearby where they could be? :)

I live off of Benita Fitzgerald right by Dale Blvd. Cloverdale park is right next door to me, so we could meet there. Maybe we could meet there on Saturday the 28th? Just thought I'd throw a date out there? :)

We live off Minnieville near 234 in Winding Creek. Call me if you want to try to get together soon. I am going on vacation next wed -Sun but will be home the next week. I work from home, so am in my home each day!
