This event helps to raise funds for IDOG Rescue and Rehome Services. There is a $5.00 admission fee to Fido's and we are asking for a minimum donation of $5.00 to IDOG. (www.idog.biz)

Fido's is a pretty neat place. All indoors and warm ( bit of info for Deb) and quite a large area for them to really motor!! I am sure Sir Riley and I will be there. There is a staircase that goes to a second level, not sure what is up there but they run up and come flying down after a few.

I'm putting this one on my calendar. Fidos sounds like an interesting (and large) place. I'm curious if it will be for doodles only during the designated timeframe, or if it will be open to all dogs at the same time. From info I've found online, it is, in addition to being a doggy daycare, also an indoor dog park for people to just drop in with their dogs for any number of hours during a single day. In any event, we'll be there!

Fido's does sound like an interesting place. I got the same feeling from reading their info--that it included a drop in dog park. We plan to be there too. A doodle romp for a good cause--that sounds especially great!

We've been taking Lucy to Fido's on weekends to their indoor dog park. It's quite large and with lots of room for dogs to run and play. Its been great for those rainy days when we want to get Lucy out to run, but don't want the mud and dirt to deal with. I should warn everyone though, that Fido's is quite stinky. Last Sunday after a vigorous play session with 3 other dogs, Lucy came home stinking to high heaven. We're waiting to bathe her till AFTER this Sunday's IDOG doodle romp, so this week has been a hard one to get through with scent du Fidos all over Lucy.

Hi, Debb! I've only been there once, but agree it was great to be able to be inside with Traveler on a rainy day. Also agree about stinky--I think the odor was disinfectant, but it was definitely strong!

The indoor light and movement pretty well defeated my little camera, but here are a few photos from the IDOG Doodle Romp on April 10. Lotsa doodlish beauties there!!
