PORTLAND area Doodle romp - October 2nd, 2011

I'm going to try to organize a doodle romp at FIDO'S in SE Portland for later in September, after most summer vacations and seasonal activities. Hopefully, a lot of people will be able to make it. Fido's is a very large indoor dog park located at 4949 SE 25th Ave (near 26th and Raymond). The annual IDOG doodle romp was located at Fido's this past spring. I'll keep you all informed as to a date and time.

 

UPDATE: Well, I ended up going with an early October date instead of late September. OCTOBER 2nd, from 1-3pm at Fidos. As long as we have at least 6 doodles the cost will be $5 per dog. Fidos does require registration with the facility, so if you haven't already registered go to www.fidosindoordogpark.com, and click on the link "sign me up." There is an online registration form that needs to be filled out and you'll need to take copies of vaccination records the day of the romp or fax them to 503 477 6318. Once you're registered you can take advantage of all the services they offer, anytime (in addition to the indoor dog park they also have boarding, diy dog grooming stations, and an indoor dog pool.

 

Just a heads up... they asked if ANY doodles were welcome, and I said, absolutely, so we may have more doodles than just our group.
