REMINDER: Portland Area Doodle ROMP, Sun., March 4th 1-3pm

Just a reminder of the 1st-Sunday Portland Area Doodle Romp, scheduled for this Sunday, March 4th, from 1-3pm at Fidos Indoor Dog Park. I'll confirm with Fidos that they're open and ready for us on Sunday.

I'm hoping we see lots of new faces as well as familiar faces... and the more doodles the better!  As long as we have at least 6 doodles attending, admission will be $5 per doodle, otherwise it will be $10.

Fido's is located at 4949 SE 25th Ave (near SE 26th and Raymond in Portland). If you haven't already done so, please register with them here https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=fido&...... and bring a current copy of your dog's vaccination records the day of the romp, or fax it to 503 477 6318.

Any chance we can find an alternate location for these romps?  After 2 trips to Fido's we're not fans of the place.. But we do want to romp! How about some outdoor dog parks for when the sun shines again?  Thanks for organizing!

We're not big fans of Fidos, either. Its the smell of the place that's off-putting. But Lucy loves to run, and Fidos is good for that. This technically, is the last doodle romp I scheduled at Fidos for doodle romps, however, Summer has asked that more be scheduled, as Sammi, who was hurt pretty badly in a car accident, isn't quite recovered enough to attend. If you know of a large enough outdoor place that isn't a mud hole this time of year, I'd love to hear about it, and you're perfectly welcome to coordinate upcoming doodle romps if you'd like.

I am so sorry to understand you did not like Fidos- I personally thought it was a great opportunity for Doodles to meet, run and romp and, we don't live there.

The staff was very attentive to clean up lil accidents which, I felt some should be a little more observant of! 

Today was one of the best ever!  Keep Hope & I posted - if we can help in any way, please do not hesitate to let us know!

Sorry Debb, we can't make it on Sunday but please keep us posted on any upcoming romps. We will be spending more time in the Portland area over the next few months and would love to meet everyone at some romps.

I'd be interested in knowing this too. I tried doing a search on the IDOG site, but didn't find anything. Then, I tried the Oregon Doodle Owners Group on Facebook, and it didn't show any upcoming events. Maybe there isn't a Portland IDOG romp this year?
