Anybody else found it impossible to put on easy walk harness??

Are you unsnapping it every time? I just slip it over his head and hook the colored bottom strap. It takes less than 20 seconds.

+1 That's what I do too - leave the shoulder harness snapped and just buckle/unbuckle the under the legs strap

YES! it took me quite a while to get the hang of it and he HATES when we put it on him.  He actually runs away - he used to growl and try to bite us when we put it on.  He doesn't do that anymore but he does run away.  Once it's on he's fine

leave everything buckled together except the strap that goes under the belly…that strap should be a different color…put the harness in place over his head...take the strap under the belly & snap by the shoulder…let me know if that works…good luck !

This^. We unbuckle only the black strap...black to black.
The very first time was a bit of an aerobic experience. Getting it fit just to right was challenging with her squiggling around. After that, no problems. She knows when the harness comes out, it means she's going with us. Do not leave it on for any length of time on the house. More than one person has reported it being chewed on.

Yes for the color ones the black strap goes under the belly and that is the only one I unbuckle and for the black one the silver strap goes under the belly! Once you do it the first time and get the adjustments like Ro said you will not have any issues!

Oops sorry...I've only seen black underbelly straps with various color harnesses.

You can also try attaching his leash to his collar and stepping on it to keep him from running away. Then, when you get the harness on (as described above), just unhook the leash from his collar and hook it to the harness.

It is worth it. He won't pull as much, and when he does, it won't be hurting his neck/throat.

if you just can't get it back together, take it back to where you bought it…when I bought Oskar's, the girl fitted him & adjusted it…then, just undo one buckle from that point on...

I had my trainer help adjust it but as the others said, unbuckle only the silver which goes under the belly. And yes, don't leave it on them, Bentley ate through a couple of them!

Yes I only buckle the bottom buckle - the rest I slip over his head
Just not easy - and he always gets his jaw into the front chest piece.

It just takes a few times of putting it on, pretty soon they figure out good things are going to happen when it's on. Yogi comes up and ducks his head into it now. ( he didn't at first )
