Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hey guys,
what are your opinion on BULLY STICKS vs ANTLERS for my 12 week old tiny goldendoodle pup coming home next month?
Breeder said she likes bull sticks.
Wanted to hear your opinion regarding one vs the other.
Also, if you can......
What is your favorite bully or antler to buy???
Lots of choices out there

Is that similar to those Himalayan dog chews?
soo cute! what a cutie pie!
Max loves the bully sticks and I buy ones from petvalu that don't spell bad at all, don't know the brand. I bought him an antler, but I think he hid it somewhere, and they are awful expensive, the bully sticks he can't get enough of them.
My ten week pup loves the bully sticks...just keep an eye on them as they can fray and become a choking hazard. Would not leave pup in a crate with them. I did buy an elk antler and Guinness barked at that thingl ike he was possessed. The pet store said that pups probably wont take to the elk because they are too hard and there is no satisfaction given to them like the bully stick. From what I have witnessed, I would agree. Hope that helps
I like the braided bully sticks as they last longer and the choking hazard seems less. I get mine from http://www.bestbullysticks.com/. The only antlers Zoe's ever liked are the split ones - when she was 12 weeks, even that was too hard for her and she never touched it until recently (she's 7 1/2 month now). She loves cow ears, but I know people are split on whether or not they are safe - Zoe eats one in a couple of hours and has never had a digestive problem from them. It's her favorite chew treat. I just get them in bulk at PetCo.
We buy odorless Bully sticks...and also buy Antlers. Also the Himalayan Chews, but those reek! Plus, Enzo drops them on our marble floors and they break. Too expensive for that!
