Oh, how cute! I would love to see a video of that!
Here's a video of what Toby like to do. He can entertain himself (and us) for quite awhile: http://youtu.be/3IY_NVycBsI (I think it's a sign of high intelligence that he has taught himself how to use "tools" - haha!)
Awe, I'll bet that's darling! I can't wait to see the video.
Hercules babies everything - even balls. He's just never been into sharing his possessions with anyone. Zeus plays hockey with his ball, but it keeps going under furniture ... and is currently MIA. Last night, I pulled out Hercules' old giant stuffed frog and teddy bears for Zeus. Umm, he plays with them alright - humped the biggest bear until he wore himself out. I took some pix - will post on my page later.
P.S. Zeus is humping the frog right now ... now he's going at the bear again - lol.
Our Maggie is two. She has been doing things like this since she was 4 or 5 months old.
She would stand on a chair with her front paws on top on the chairback so she would be as tall as possible. Then she would drop the ball. She would let it bounce a couple times then leap off the chair and get it.
But the more impressive game is dropping the ball and catching it on the first bounce. She is so good at it that she will do it 6-8 times in row with out missing it.....sometimes while walking thru the room.
That's awesome! I wish my doods did that!
One of Darwin's fun games is to bring out all his favourite toys from his basket, one at a time onto the carpet that is his main play area. Then he wiggles around on the floor from toy to toy, chewing one, flipping over and chewing another, then executing a squiggly twist to get to yet another toy. When, inevitably, a toy is out of reach, he will not get up and walk to it, but rather shimmy his way over on his back. It's pretty fun to watch his antics.
