Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Millie is 8 weeks old and weighs 9 pounds 2 ounces. I thought she was big, but maybe that's not very big for 8 weeks?! I see there's a ways to calculate her adult-size online, but the two I used must have been way off because they said she was going to be like 30 pounds!? The breeder told me 50 pounds, but then he mentioned no bigger than 60 as well. I'd love to hear how your much your puppy grew and how fast!!

Hi Darcy!
I don't know if I can help, as our F1 female Rhubarb is only 3 months old. But here are her statistics:
8 weeks: 15.8 pounds
10 weeks: 19.8 pounds
12 weeks: 24.6 pounds
Her breeder predicted her to be ~60-70 pounds. An online calculator said 67. We are just going to wait and see! Millie sure is cute :)

Lucy (now 3-1/2 yrs) was 10.6 lbs at 8 weeks (Oscar, my 8 mo. old, was over 12 lbs at 8 weeks). Lucy is and has been right around 50 lbs, +/- a few. Oscar is still growing, slowly, but last check he was 48 lbs. Both are standard Labradoodles Congratulations on Millie! She's adorable :)
This link should be helpful.

This calculator is the most accurate I found:
Awesome, thank you!
I'm curious, Kimberly, did you find a 'doodle' on the pull-down tab from puppychart.com, and am I missing it? I ended up putting Labrador Retriever in. Every calculation I've used for Oscar puts him at around 63 lbs at maturity. He's got the biggest body parts... LOL! ... but only weighs about 50 lbs so far at 8 months.
Since Chopper is 75% poodle I just used that comparison. I also tried Labrador and got the same results of 55lbs. It is probably the same basic formula for all breeds.
Wow, thank you all! I'm happy. Sounds like she won't be big by any means. :) Big is wonderful, but we camp a lot during the summer and fitting a "big" dog in our camper with us would be more difficult. At 50 pounds hopefully she can just jump in bed with one of our children. :)
I just found my notes for Maizey:
9 weeks: 13 lbs
14.5 weeks: 25 lbs
4.5 months: 35 lbs
She's now almost a year and a half and has weighed around 55lbs for quite some time. She was a giant puppy with huge puppy feet and grew quickly that I was kind of worried for a while that she would be super large, but 55lbs is a perfect size. She definitely fits on beds (and loves them)!
Congrats on Millie - she is so adorable!! Have fun!
