Ok so weird question, does any one out there get the feeling that their puppy will never grow into their tongue? Moose is 6 months old and I swear I never noticed this with Loki but I think Moose's tongue is about the size of a great danes....

He's a large puppy, weighing in at around 70lbs a week or so ago but I swear about 10lbs has to be all tongue! Just curious if any one else has noticed this about their puppy :)

This made me smile! I don't think Brisco's tongue is long but it is spotted, which I love and so do any kid he meets. But i get annoyed when someone says "you know Chow Chows are dogs with spotted tongue, he's got Chow in him." Uh no he doesn't, spotted tongue are really like birth narks for dogs and are in many other dogs. A lady basically called me a liar the other day saying no just Chows! Does he look like a Chow lady? Uh no. LoL

Chows have blue tongues. The blueness is what is unique to them and other select breeds like the Shar-Pei. Any dog's tongue can be spotted.
