- I'm 28 yr old new doodle owner. We are parents to 2 human boys and 1 doodle boy.

- I have a black goldendoodle, his name is Brisco and he is almost a year old. He is our only 4 legged fury friend, we also have 2 turtles and a dwarf hamster.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We chose this bred for many reasons including allergies (my 7 year old), smarts and trainability, there love of there owners and we are an pretty active family and we wanted a dog that could be active with us.

- Long walks, fetch, snuggle

Hello all, haven't been very active as of late, my grandmother passed away and I've been adjusting to that. I will say Brisco has been amazing during this time, sensing my emotions and really comforting me.
But he needed some comforting himself here recently bc he got very ill, very fast. It started on a Friday, we woke up to find he had vomited Thursday's dinner up completely undigested. He had eaten around 7 pm on Thursday and around 8 am Friday morning it all came up. At first…

We really don't leave Brisco alone for more than 2 hours bc we hate leaving him in his crate. Not that he wont stay in there its just he's anxious in it and I feel bad so if I don't have to put him in then I don't. Plus the way our house is I can shut all the doors and he just… Continue

Today I discovered that Brisco doesn't care for rain... Well, lets start from the beginning. Yesterday (or today depending on where you are) was my volunteer day at my sons school so Brisco had to hang out at home for a bit on his own. Normally rain, volunteer day ect would be just another day but I have had a tooth ache for 2 days and can't get into the dentist until tomorrow; needless to say I dont feel great.
