Darwin's collar and leash are nylon and do fine, but my hands would really appreciate a nice leather one. Any suggestions for good brands?

I love these collars but you need to contact them and find out what store in your area would sell them. They are usually found in boutique pet stores. My groomer also sells them. Gracie Doodle has the dark brown with the turquoise hearts. They run around $36.00 for the size that is around 20".

I also love the Cesar Millan leash that has a handle. My hands hurt when I use the standard loop leash. This is not a leather leash though. I really don't care what the leash is made of but am more concerned about the handle and comfort of my hand.

Nancie--I couldn't find how to order them online...only far away stores that sell them. Am I missing the obvious?
I am still on the search. I had a rolled leather collar that worked really well to keep dreadlocks from forming. The only problem is that it didn't even last a year. So I don't feel like I can recommend. My dog is too laid back to pull so that wasn't the problem.
Your lucky that he doesn't pull! We are still working on that with Darwin.
I know this discussion is old, but this is the greatest leash IMO!!!! The Preston leather leash. Great prices- I bought Peri's 1 1/2 years ago and it looks new. Soft in hand and braided.

Thanks Allyson, I never bought one so I'm still kind of looking. :-)
