Groomer recommendations In Southern California

Let's make a  list the Southern California groomers we have used and liked as a resource for others.  If you want more information on a specific groomer, message the person who posted it.

List the groomer and the town they are located in with a brief description of the services you used them for.

Please only post a groomer YOU have used and are satisfied with.  Many excellent groomers do poorly with doodles so we don't want to recommend anyone we have not used for our doodles.  Thanks.

Sorry, I put the wrong name in my response, Jennifer. 
You didn't need to delete it yet.  I just wanted us to list groomers we had gone to with our doodles and were happy with.  Apparently many groomers (lots of great groomers too) just  do not know how to work with doodle coats and our guys get some pretty bad hair cuts or shaves or get charged an exorbitant amount of money that they weren't expecting to pay.I do not know why our dogs are so difficult to cut, but apparently they are.
I thought we could gather a list of groomers we used personally and could recommend. If your friend's dog was a doodle and you liked the cut, it would be the same as if you used the shop.

I will try and take a before and after picture of Sadie tomorrow.  If I like this groomer I will post her information as well as the pictures.  If she gets a horrible cut I won't post pics until her hair looks good again!  HAHA!!  I am keeping my fingers crossed it turns out well!  I am a bit nervous about getting her groomed because of the possibilty of her getting a bad cut.  This is a great post!  I love hearing about all the different groomers!

Sadie did great at her appointment today!!!  She is so soft and smells like blueberries!  I am very happy with her first haircut.  Midge really listened to what I wanted and I got it!!!!  Midge is the owner of Pucci Paws Spa in Murrieta.  She works out of her home.  I would definitely recommend her!!!

Ye Olde Poodle Parlor, 740 Nordahl Road, San Marcos, CA, 760-745-9471

We have been getting Holly groomed at ye Olde Poodle Parlor for about a year and a half now.  It was too difficult to get an appointment with our previous groomer and we can always get a appointment within a reasonable time.  Best of all, Holly always looks great when she finishes at her beauty salon...

I live in Mission Viejo (Orange County). My mobile groomers company name is "Doggie Scrub & Styles". We've used our Groomer (Kendal Rock) for 3 years now. The website site/emails are: [e-mail] and www.doggiescrub.com.  We tried several groomers before we found this one and I am very particular about groomers and I have not been disappointed yet by this one. Their prices are extremely reasonable especially for a mobile groomer and they have been very accommodating on times and days on appointments for us.

We've recommended our Groomer to numerous other Doodle owners that we've come across and we've learned that several of them have become happy clients which is good to know because I hate giving referrals to people that don't end up being happy.

Charlie just has regular grooming done every 5 weeks. His hairstyle is called a "Sporting or Puppy Cut.

Thanks Jennifer.  Please let me know what you think of the PucciPaws.  Beckett is five months.  I'm still enjoying the shaggy look and fortunately he lets me comb him every night, but I know I'll need a place in the near future.
