Any other doodles out there from Spring Creek in Oregon? Would love to hear about other "relatives" and "friends." My Ozzie is a Jilin-Trusty pup (F1B black) shown in the picture.

Hello,

My dog Hazel and I just joined the group yesterday. Hazel is 18 months old and is from Cherish and Noble's first litter (2007.) We'd love to chat and connect with other Spring Creek doodles.

I use a grain-free food for Ozzie and he is doing very well. He eats either Innova EVO or Nature's Variety Prairie. The EVO has either chicken or venison, as I recall. Nature's Variety has 4 different varieties, but the Prairie is the only grain-free kibble. Ozzie alternates, as he gets bored with the grain-free after so long a time. But with Nature's Variety, I can switch him back and forth with no transition time.

Dash's ears can become quite terrible for him. However now with keeping it clean and I took him off of chicken and most wheat (a friend's suggestion having heard about allergies) he seems to be better. It is probably a combination of the two -- I hate pulling the hair, great idea to trim the inside hair.

Hi Bonnie, Some have said that it's not necessary to pull the ear hair. You may want to check with your vet. I ask them not to use powder in Ozzie's ears because it tends to cake up. I wash his ears with isopropyl alcohol:white vinegar (1:3) and that seems to keep him in good shape. He hasn't had an ear problem in I don't know how long! Other possibility is to just trim the inside hair with blunt edge scissors instead of pulling it out.

Oh, Mabel sounds a lot like Wilson! He is very relaxed and calm and fantastic with our nephews and nieces. He loves to run around and be chased. I see you are in Portland, also. Maybe we should meet the dogs up at a nearby dog park and see if they remember each other! Do you remember which "color" she was?

Mabel is from Sonoma/Legend litter too. She is so easy going and just perfect for our 3 daughters ages 5, 7, and 10. She comes out to the barn with our horses and goes on trail rides with us. She always keeps eye contact and never strays unless of course she thinks we want to get her and then she runs away as a game.

Hello!
Our doodle, Wilson, is from the Sonoma/Legend litter. Any siblings out there? He is the joy of our lives--he's so quirky and smart!

Hi there! I have two doodles from Spring Creek-- Dash and Lilly. Dash's parents are Chehalis (mom) and Romance (dad). Dash is 16 months old. Lilly's mom is Starlet and dad is Virtue. She is almost 4 months old and doing great. They love, love, love playing together. Dash has a wool coat and Lilly has fleece. Definitely the smartest dogs in the neighborhood!

Hi Mark & Sarah! I saw Dexter's pic before I read your comment and I was thinking to myself how much he and Chloe look alike! He's so cute! I love her coat - it's exactly what I wanted!
Chloe was almost 20lbs at her last checkup a few weeks ago. Yes, she's very smart and made a great first impression at Puppy Kindergarten today.
Nice to 'meet' you :)
