Shelby was in the 2010 Goldendoodle calendar. She is from the Paw Pad. She was born Sep 4, 2008 by Angel and Marley. She's an F1b.

I think I saw Moose in 2 of the calendars, but maybe they were 2 different Mooses? Moosi? I was really excited to see all of the Paw Pad doodles in the calendars. We had a few in the 2009 calendars, too.

i was also too terrified to take taylor to the groomers, for the possibility of going back and picking up a poodle. i ended up trimming taylor's head, face and beard the other day myself and at first i was devastated - his white patch was gone and never to return, and he had lost his shaggy look which i loved. i agree with you melissa, i think i let taylor's hair grow out so much when i cut his head, it was such a drastic change i was so shocked!! I actually stopped at the head and left the body so now he looks a bit funny.

thanks for the advice; it had grown in a bit already; next time i am not going to let it grow quite so long because i think that contributed to the drastic effect!

I think you can tell them that you want his head to look the same but shorter. But if you found some pics that you like, it might also be helpful to print them out. When I finally got Halas a real haircut, I took in about 5 different pictures and circled the parts I liked on each pic. If there's a particular picture of Charlie from a month ago where you really liked how his head looked, you can print that out and take it to the groomer. I think descriptions are useful, but pictures really help with the details, especially since we don't know the groomer lingo.

HELP! made charlie an appointment for his first "real" haircut next week. i tried to read through alot of the instructions on this group. i feel like i have a good idea what to tell the groomer. i know i want them to use scissors, no shaving. lisa, i looked at your link with instructions and its helpful but i am not so sure about what to say about cutting his head. i kind of just want the same cut he has now (naturally) but just shorter. can i just say that or is that risky? i don't want anything drastic...any suggestions??
