Age of Doodle: 8 months
Type: F1 female Goldendoodle
Favorite Water Activity: Dipping Face into any form of water and getting completely soaked.
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Fun Fact: Kensi' favorite morning activity is jumping into the shower after I am finished and drinking up any water that is remaining. She likes to get herself "clean" every morning by basically getting totally wet from the dripping faucet. Too cute!

Age: Stella is 16 mos.
Type: F1 Female Goldendoodle
Favorite Water Activity:Any water makes her happy... even a bowl of water. She just has to play in it.
Location: Richmond, VA
Fun Fact: One of the things I did to see how Stella liked the water was to get her one of those little kid pool. I would toss treats in there and she would go scuba diving just to get them.

great idea with the kiddie pool Belinda! I plan on getting one for Kensi this summer to cool off when we can't get down to the beach.

A little advise.... get the pool early. Once it gets hot they are like little bars of gold... and so hard to find!

Fun Fact: We live on the water in Louisiana. We have alligators. I have taught Murphy about the "alligator water" just like my boys. NO SWIMMING! NO DOCK DIVING! He is allowed in the fountain!
We were actually flooded in this past September with Hurricane Ike. Really not cool.

How great that you could teach him not to go in the alligator areas. I love the picture with the kayak. Does he go kayaking with you?

I have an ocean kayak that we can both sorta fit on, We definitely don't fit in this one.
I love the name Moose!

Unfortunately since we are land locked, I'm not overly familiar with the kayaks. I've rented the flat ones in Florida for use in the backwater areas. You just sit on top of them and they would probably carry a dog. Anyway, that picture just made me smile. Thanks, he is quite a Moose (plus he is partially chocolate colored). Yeah, I know, a really bad play on words! :)

Toby is 7 months. He is a black goldendoodle. His favourite water activity is splashing through puddles, and dripping water all over the kitchen so we get soakers. We are in Southern Ontario. Fun fact - Toby loves music. Completely relaxes if I play piano, my husband sings, or my son plays guitar.

Hi we are new to DK as well as this group, Murphy is 1 year old, f1b Labradoodle, he loves all water, we live in western NJ lots of stream and ponds here but wherever we go dogs must be leashed. I guess his faveroite thing is trying to get into the Koi pond without being noticed. There is a public resovoir near by where this time of the year we may be able to go. I think I will check it out today.
