Is Bruno more poodle or Retriver

Hi all!

We brought home our beautiful baby boy Bruno 2 weeks ago and he truly is the love of our lives. We purchased him from a breeder. But to me he looks more Retreiver then Poodle...Thoughts?

He is very doodle-y. He already has a wavy coat and you can clearly see his facial furnishings.

He's certainly has got curly/wavy hair. I think he definitely looks doodle! He's so cute. How old is he? What generation?

Thank you! Hes 8 weeks old, weighing in at 16lbs. He's mom is a Golden Retriever and he's dad is a champagne poodle. We love him to pieces...no matter what he ends up looking like

Oh wow. He's a big boy!
I have a Goldendoodle, but she is black. Her mom was a chocolate brown poodle and dad a golden. Her hair is wavy, but I wouldn't call it curly. She's now 14 weeks - almost 15 weeks and weighs around 20 lbs. probably a little more since I haven't weighed her in a couple of weeks.

Sorry for the late response!..Im very new to this site and it took me forever to find profile pics. Jade is just too adorable!!! Looks like shes leading a great life..great pics of her in the snow!

Awe. Thanks. Yeah they are spoiled. My kids are basically grown. So, the other day when I took her and Gracie out to play in the snow, I was like so this is what empty nesters do - they play in the snow with their dogs! Well, at least I have less hot cocoa to make these days, but then I get the joy of picking snow balls off their paws and fur. ;)

Your absolutely right...He's face in the last three days has already changed and the waves in his coat are becoming more prominent

This is a photo of my daughter's Golden Retriever at about the same age. You can see that she cleary has the smooth Golden face with none of the facial furnishings that your puppy has. Bruno is adorable!
