Hi All...

Wrigley is 10 weeks old & looks alot more lab than doodle to me. His breeder has stood strongly with the notion that he will doodle out in time & that it's too early to tell considering that both his parents are multigen with wavy fleece! Just wondering what you all might think? & please feel free to share any baby & adult pictures! I'd love to see them!

He sure is sweet looking! I have read that some multigens look more like a lab. I can't remember where though but I was looking for labradoodles with baby fuzz that sheds. Because that's what my F1 does already and she's been doing it since we brought her home. Anyway, I think your baby is so adorable and will be a great looking dog. He's got some gorgeous coloring!

Multigen doodles always confuse me... because you can make multiple generations of F1s but then your doodles are still 50% lab/retriever :p  Genetically that means you can still end up with flat-coated doodles.  It depends on how they do the "multiple generations".

Here is a pic of our Luna (F1 mini goldendoodle) at 10 weeks so you can see her (lack of) facial furnishings that would indicate a scruffier adult:

Oh she's angelic alright. ;) I just took some of her sleeping. She's not as wavy as Luna, but you can definitely see fuzz in the pics. I need to get my real camera out and start taking pics of her.

well that was weird. It wouldn't let me upload and then when I posted, it uploaded. Lol. Anyway, she's got waves on her back. I think if I took a pic with my real camera it would show more. I'm wondering how many f1 have the fuzz.

So cute!  Her hair is definitely straighter than Luna's, but Luna's actually got curlier as she got older (and still getting curlier).

Gracie's ears curl at the tip - I guess that's why I said that they look alike. Gracie has more of a fuzz. She has some waves in her coat (back and sides), but it's not super prominent.
My profile pic is making her look lighter than she really is. I captured some photos with my camera. I will see if I can upload them sometime soon. You can really see her fuzz!

Luna is beautiful! I had her in my mind when choosing my Pippa. I love the tiny little Golden look!

Thanks!  We had no idea that flat-coated doodles even existed but we actually prefer it this way.

Technically multi-generation is 4th or greater - at least that is what my information was.

I don't have photos of Pippa as a young puppy because we got her at 17 weeks old. But here is her current picture.The first one is Pippa with her "sister" Daphne and F1b.  She definitely has that small golden look like Luna.She is now 6 1/2 months old.
