Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi All,
I really enjoy going through the pictures of the pups in this group and though I'd join in and share pictures of my Watson.
7 weeks - He was fluffy and showed more wave around his face. This was at the breeder, as I couldn't take him home yet.
4 months - His muzzle is smooth, as well as the top of his head, except where his ears pop out.
He has a coarser, wavy, short racing stripe down his back (we're convinced it helps the aerodynamics in his zoomies)
the rest of his coat is fluffy and soft but going in different directions with alot of extra long fuzz
oh. and he sheds. of course :)
we're curious as to how his coat will change as he looks pretty crazy right now

Oh, he is precious! My Pippa also has that courser hair right down the middle of her back. It is still soft, just not as soft as the rest of her.
This is something I've never seen before; in the 7 week photo, he clearly has furnishings on his face. I've never heard of the furnishings disappearing, in any puppy of any breed, ever.
I'm wondering if the puppy in the top photo is the one you actually got. How old was he when you brought him home, and did he have the furnishings?
Regardless, he's adorable.
When I went to dig up that picture I was surprised at how different he looked too!
The picture below is of him at almost 9 weeks on the car ride home. I'm pretty confident its the same pup.
he does have a tiny goatee with fur just a bit longer under his chin that lays flat against his.. chin?
at the very corners of his cheeks there is fur a bit longer as well. I guess when I said a smooth muzzle, I wasn't thinking of underneath or to the cheeks. This is a picture from a few weeks ago where it is more evident...
since then, his face is starting to look smoother and he currently looks like he has a receding hairline :)
Doodles are all so different, and it's fascinating to see the changes as they mature!
Oh, he is just adorable. Love his name!
