Thanks for the info - we have a fleet farm around us and I also get dr foster and smith's catalog. I'm already sick of wiping down her feet every time she comes in and it's only December. Although putting boots on and off of Irish every time she wants out doesn't really appeal either and the thought of having to do this for the next 15 years doesn't sound good either - she's just really lucky that she is so darn cute and a good puppy to make this all worth it! Thanks for the advice everyone! Does this Wisconsin doodle group ever meet or WANT to meet sometime????

Try drsfostersmith.com for boots. They are a catalog out of Rhinelander that we have had good luck with. Divot drove us nuts on "snow day" wanting to be outside. We gave up on the snow stuck in his fur and went through a lot of towels! He has gotten very good about standing to get his legs rubbed down.

We have a 9 month old doodle named Irish - I'm here in Wisconsin and I'm thinking I would love to get her snow boots but I'm afraid people will think I'm nuts. Does anyone know where I can purchase such an item - I've looked at PETCO and the boots there all seem so small - any suggestions?

Lol I know what you mean about shorting his time I do that for wilson then let him melt on some towels Wilson just gallops through the snow It is very funny

Boy the snow is falling like crazy here Wilson just wants to keep going in and out of the house He is like a 2 year old Love It ! :-) going to try and get a video later on we have 14 inches on the ground so far Yes!!! White Christmas here we come !!!! and I didn't have to work today NO SCHOOL Better yet!!!

Next Northern Illinois Doodle Romp is Saturday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. at Lakewood dog park (Fairfield Road just north of 176 in Wauconda).
