Canon 7D and several okay lenses.  I think the lens matters as much or more than the camera, but the 7D is a good one.

May I ask what kind of camera you have?  A couple years ago I got the cannon G10 (I think) and it takes pretty good pictures, except it doesn't pick up the detail at all.   I want a really really good camera, but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it.  Any suggestions?
