Mom, why are you purple?
Tara's, first experience with Doggles, eye protectors. She likes to ride in the car with her head out so we thought we would give these a try.

Well, it is strange because she always liked to ride with her head out of the car. She was in the process of getting used to them when she just lost interest in putting her head out (with or without them). I'm not sure why. So we discontinued the "getting used to" effort and now they are sitting in the box. I think that with time she would have adapted to them. They didn't really bother her that much. Part of the problem though is that when her hair is longer the doggles trap the hair hanging down from above her eyes into the doggles and then she couldn't see because of her hair being in her eyes. As you can see, we never quite worked out the kinks!

How'd she do with the Doggles? Daisy is just now starting to tolerate car rides and I noticed yesterday that she had her face in the window (ever so slightly)....Tara looks adorable in them.

This is just the cutest picture!! I love the Doggles on her. Its almost as if she is trying to look goofy with just a little bit of her tongue sticking out. Too Cute!!

Maybe I will try to take a new photo of her with the doggles with her hair longer and see how that looks. She got SHAVED in March and now 5 months later she is finally starting to look like a doodle again!

Oh, we had to get cut real short too, I got used to it after a while, plus the hair grows everyday! I can't wait until Rosey is fluffy again though;)

I might just think about putting this picture in the profile space. I don't really like the one I chose. But this one was right after her most hideous grooming experience of all time. She hardly has any hair at all! The doggles are cute but the hairdo stinks!!

Thank you! We got the shades for the mini-Rosey on eBay! We got a second pair later at a local dog boutique that special ordered them for us. If you live in a larger city you might be able to find them around town. That is NOT to say they will have the really cool colors though! You might notice in our other pictures that Tara and her dad (DH) have MATCHING white beards!! So I guess its genetic! LOL!
