About Me:: I am an "empty nest" mother whose children went off to college and I couldn't stand the quiet house and no one to care for, so I went to Glen Eden in search of a golden doodle to occupy my time.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have "Chewie", and F1B golden doodle that we adopted from Glen Eden in October, 2006. Not wanting just one dog, we adopted another golden doodle, "Lilo", who is an F1. They couldn't make me or my family members happier. While Chewie is highly energetic and extremely intelligent, Lilo is sweet and very laid back.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I had had a chocolate labrador retriever for 12+ years and loved her without a doubt. But, I was a slave to her shedding and vacuumed EVERY DAY. Not wanting to deal with shedding anymore, I knew a doodle was a good choice for me. Then the question arose...Do I want a Labradoodle or Goldendoodle? I went with the Goldendoodle not once but twice. I haven't had one moment of regret. I think it's the best breed ever!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: My favorite things to do with my dogs is to either swim them in my pool or run them on the beach. Both of my Doodles love to be exercised daily and loved unconditionally all day long.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I have a mobile groomer come to my home every 6-8 weeks.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Kongs, Frisbees, balls, soup bones, and toys I can hide treats inside
