My husband and I have been married for 40 years. We have three children, and four grandchildren. We have recently moved to CA to be closer to family. We have decided to get a goldendoodle to enjoy since we are now retired. It's been a while since we have had a puppy so this is an adventure. A good one! Our puppy was just born June 30 so we are waiting until we can bring her home in 8 weeks.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
We are planning going to the beach, hiking, dog park (new one) and enjoying watching our grandchildren enjoy our new pup.
Hi! We had a golden retriever AND a shih tzu together. Shih tzus are just wonderful. Our golden lived to be 14 1/2 and the shih tzu 13. I'm looking forward to my new goldendoodle. It's been a while without pups in the house. She will be ready the end of August! She will be a standard (60 lbs). I may also get a poovanese (havanese/poodle) in January because I love the big dog little dog combo. We will see how we manage our sanity with this puppy first! Haha Enjoy your combo! BK
We have been married 40 years also and have three kids. We have a great labradoodle, Kate. She is so sweet and has been a good role model for our new shih tzu pup, Zoey. Have fun with your pup and I look forward to seeing pictures.
